Can I change a guest name or give someone my ticket?

Ask the organiser before giving an assigned ticket to someone else. Assigning an unused ticket to a guest is a different step from changing the holder of an already assigned ticket.

If the ticket has not been assigned

When MEL offers an assignment link, the buyer can enter the holder's name and email and select Assign ticket. Check the details first. The assignment form does not let you overwrite a ticket that is already assigned.

If a name is wrong or someone else wants to attend

Contact the organiser with the booking reference and explain the change you need. Ask whether the event allows it and what you need to do. Do not assume that forwarding the email or sharing the QR code changes the ticket holder or permits entry.

For trouble opening an assignment link, contact MEL support. Keep the link private. If another website issued the ticket, follow that provider's process.
