Joining a waitlist

Use Join waitlist when it appears for a sold-out event or ticket. Joining a waitlist does not confirm a place or complete a ticket purchase.

1. Open the event's booking options.
2. Choose Join waitlist if it is offered.
3. Enter the details requested and check your email address.
4. Submit and read the confirmation or position information shown.
5. Check your inbox for any later offer and follow its instructions before it expires.

A paid ticket offer may require you to complete checkout. Do not attend on the strength of a waitlist confirmation alone.

Not every event offers a waitlist, and an offer is not guaranteed. If you need to change your details or no longer want a place, use the options in the message or contact the organiser.

Does joining a waitlist reserve a ticket?

No. A waitlist entry is not a booking or a held ticket. Wait for the organiser's instructions and complete any booking steps requested. Do not arrive expecting entry unless you have a confirmed place.
