Refunds on MyEventLane

For each paid event, the event organiser is the seller. MyEventLane provides the marketplace and booking workflow. Your ticket payment is processed through the event organiser’s connected Stripe account. The organiser is responsible for the event and its refund policy, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

MyEventLane’s role

MyEventLane provides the booking and refund workflow and can help investigate a booking or refund status. The organiser authorises and funds an event refund, and Stripe processes it from the organiser’s connected Stripe account. MyEventLane does not hold the organiser’s ticket revenue.

Requesting a refund

  1. Open your booking from your confirmation email or account.
  2. Review the event refund policy and your consumer rights.
  3. Submit the request through the channel shown on the booking.
  4. Track the request until it is approved, processed or declined.

An approved refund is normally sent to the original payment method. Arrival timing depends on Stripe, the payment method and the financial institution, so MyEventLane cannot guarantee a fixed date.

Cancelled or significantly changed events

The organiser should communicate next steps and meet their obligations under applicable law. Contact the organiser first. Contact MyEventLane support if you cannot reach them or the recorded refund state appears wrong.

Free RSVP events

RSVP events do not involve a ticket payment. Update or cancel your RSVP if available, or contact the organiser.
